Captain Cook Elderly, aka Hale Anuhea, is located on the leeward side of the Big Island, a 20-minute drive from Kailua-Kona. Located at 82-1040 Kiloa Road, it is located on the hillside just above Choice Mart and the United States Post Office. The property is within close proximity to shopping, dining, and banking.

The project is comprised of three one-story buildings with a combined total of 21 units. There are 16 one-bedroom, one-bath units totaling 504 square feet of living space and 5 studio, one-bath apartments at 420 square feet. There is a laundry room on site for tenant use, a small community room for book lending, and a resident manager’s office.

All units come with VCT tiled floors, open concept kitchens with wooden cabinetry and Formica countertops, electric Energy Star refrigerators and ranges, garbage disposals and range hoods. Most bathrooms are equipped with vanities, and all come with a tub/shower combination. All apartments come with a private front lanai for seating and socializing with neighbors.

This property is limited to households whose head, co-head, or spouse are 62 years or over. ADA units are for persons (elderly or nonelderly) who require the accessible features of the unit.
